Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:

Beacon Hill Technologies is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with proficiencies in Fortinet products, specifically Fortigate and FortiManager. The ideal candidate would have 7+ years of experience working in network operations who would consider themselves well rounded in the area. If you are looking to utilize your deep knowledge of network security and protocols to add value to one of Indiana's native companies, this may be the role for you.

Required Skills:

• Must have 7+ years of relevant work experience in Network Operations
• Experience with FortiGate Installations, configurations, deployments, and administration
• Experience with maintenance, policy creation and administration within FortiManager
• Extensive support of routing protocols / technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VPN (Site to Site, remote access client, IPSEC) VPN tunnel, etc
• Strong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Protocols, Port configuration, Link aggregation, spanning tree, performance tuning, etc
• Proven experience with SD-WAN solutions, design, implementations, and security integration
• Deep knowledge of security best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation techniques
• VMWare Administration
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Able to work weekends

Desired Skills:

• Associate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Powershell Scripting
• Experience with Cisco Wireless Lan Controls
• Familiar with cloud networking
• Familiar with hybrid cloud architectures
• Experience with network tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Auvik, or PRTG
• Strong analytical skills pertaining to network security
