Job Title: Entry-Level Staff Accountant
Location: Walton Hills, OH
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our construction company in Walton Hills, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to start your accounting career by gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic industry. MUST have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or economics with an exceltional GPA, and a strong internship. This is a fully in-office position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Help with monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and track financial transactions.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Support senior accountants with budgeting and financial analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
