Scam Alert: A Message to Job Seekers
We are saddened to be alerting our community to a person or persons that are impersonating Beacon Hill employees and offering jobs in an attempt to collect personal information from job seekers. This scam seems to be specific to city/regional Facebook Marketplace groups, which is not a section of Facebook that we post jobs to. Messages sent by our recruiters through sites like Indeed and LinkedIn are not part of this scam and therefore should not be considered worrisome. If you're ever concerned about the legitimacy of a message received, ask the recruiter to email you directly. Our email addresses ALWAYS end with a Beacon Hill domain – either “@beaconhillstaffing.com” or “@beaconhillsg.com”. Please note, some of our clients DO request personal information from applicants such as date of birth and the last 4 digits of your SSN. As long as these communications are, again, coming from a Beacon Hill email domain – @beaconhillstaffing.com” or “@beaconhillsg.com” – you need not worry.
