Over the last month, the Boston Business Journal once again bestowed high honors upon Beacon Hill Staffing Group by naming it to its annual “Area’s Largest Temporary Placement Firms” and “Area’s Largest Executive Search Firms” lists, as well as naming the company a 2014 Pacesetter.

Named #11 on the BBJ’s “Area’s Largest Temporary Placement Firms” list, Beacon Hill was recognized for providing the region temporary employees and contractors across the technology, legal, financial, HR and administrative sectors. Beacon Hill has made the list several years in a row, having earned the #10 spot in 2013, #9 spot in 2012, #10 spot in 2011 and #12 spot in 2010.

As for the BBJ’s “Area’s Largest Executive Search Firms” list, Beacon Hill came in at #3 moving up two spots from last year. Noted in the ranking was that fact that 6% of Beacon Hill’s total 2013 revenue was derived from executive search. This is the tenth year running that Beacon Hill was named to the list.

For the ninth year running, the BBJ announced that Beacon Hill Staffing Group was named to the publication’s Pacesetters – a list of the region’s fastest-growing privately held companies. This year’s list included the 70 Massachusetts companies that recorded the highest three-year growth rate in revenue as of December 31, 2013, with a starting baseline of $1 million. Beacon Hill, along with 69 other area companies, was honored at the BBJ’s annual Pacesetters event, coming in 26th overall, as well as being named #7 Elite Company for its vigorous growth while also operating one of the region’s larger companies.

Published in the BBJ’s special “Pacesetters” supplement was a quote from CEO, Andrew Wang. When asked “What strategy have you used to grow your company from 2010 to 2013,” Wang was quoted as saying, “Constantly creating opportunities for those within our organization has been our driving force. Growth has been a result of this commitment and support, atop an expandable platform built to scale.”

In 2004, when Beacon Hill was first named a Pacesetter, the company's annual revenue was $11,600,000. Nine years later, Beacon Hill's 2013 revenue was $221,938,000.
