Beacon Hill Boston Once Again Named to BBJs Best Places to Work List
June 20th, 2019
Beacon Hill’s Boston, Massachusetts, office was recently named to the Boston Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” list for 2019.
Beacon Hill was one of 79 companies recognized by the publication, which determined recognition based on an online survey administered to employees asking them to rate their respective work environment, job satisfaction, work-life balance, advancement opportunities, management, compensation and benefits.
Companies were divided into five different categories: Extra small (20 to 49 employees), small (50 to 99 employees), medium (100 to 249 employees), large (250 to 999 employees) and extra-large (1,000 employees and over). According to the BBJ, the Boston office ranked number 11 out of 20 in the midsized companies category.
On Wednesday, June 19, Beacon Hill Boston joined more than 1000 attendees at the BBJ’s 17th annual awards reception at Boston's Head of Concourse at the World Trade Center in Seaport. Entertainment was provided by Boston Circus Guild and there was even a great interactive lounge that had ice-cold slushies being handed out all night!
"Ensuring that Beacon Hill is a great place to work is a massive priority for us,” commented Andrew Wang, CEO. “To be recognized as such, by those within our company, is the greatest honor imaginable.”
To accept the award on our behalf, our own Alexis Demetriades, Senior Managing Consultant with Beacon Hill's HR division, took the stage. This year, acceptance speeches were replaced by 10- to 20-second videos submitted by each company. The videos epitomized what made each a Best Place to Work. Demetriades was also joined by a number of Beacon Hill compatriots during the evening – Senior Consultant Deborah Feldman, Senior Consultant Laurie Flynn, Account Executive Roz Chesky, Senior Consultant Mary Catherine Bowden, Senior Account Executive Ashlie Moseley, Solutions Talent Manager Steve Dion, Senior Account Executive Nick Gallant and Senior Account Executive Hallie Miller.
