Beacon Hill Named Pacesetter

April 1st, 2008

Beacon Hill was honored as one of the region’s fastest-growing private companies by the BBJ at their annual Pacesetters event in April - and one of only ten companies to earn a spot three years in a row.

The Boston Business Journal surveys private companies across the region, considering only those that have demonstrated significant revenue growth over a four-year period, and awards the top sixty (60) with the distinction of Pacesetter. Beacon Hill achieved the #17 spot for 2008, the #5 spot for 2007 and the #8 spot for 2006.

“We’re very pleased to be named a BBJ Pacesetter this year,” remarked Andrew Wang, CEO. “Being honored three times in three years is something we’re all very proud of.”

To be eligible for consideration this year, companies had to be privately held and must have had at least $1m in revenue for 2004. Beacon Hill posted $44m in revenue in 2007 up from $29m in 2006. 2004 revenue was just under $12m. The largest company to make the list had 2007 revenue of $850m.
