November 16th, 2016

Beacon Hill Staffing Group was again named to The Boston Globe’s prestigious Top Places to Work list for 2016, ranking 6th out of 40 companies in the "Medium Employers” category. This is the second consecutive year that Beacon Hill has been recognized. The news was reported in a special Top Places to Work magazine supplement included in The Boston Sunday Globe on November 20th. This is the popular magazine’s ninth year of honoring the state’s most beloved workplaces based on surveys of the people who know best – the employees themselves.

Beacon Hill was one of 22 companies named to the "Medium Employers" category to have made last year's list, and was one of eight repeat recipients to improve on 2015's ranking. The company was also one of only two staffing companies in the "Medium Employers" category to make the list. On Thursday, November 17th, eight representatives from Beacon Hill joined other "Top Places" recipients at the Aloft Boston Seaport Hotel for an awards reception.

News of the ranking was also reported on BostonGlobe.com as well as Boston.com. The Boston Globe’s 2016 Top Places to Work survey was conducted by WorkPlace Dynamics of Exton, Pa., specialists in employee engagement and retention. The Globe invited 2,021 employers to participate in the survey, of which 332 completed the entire process. Completed surveys were received from over 70,000 individuals, who rated their employers based on key metrics such as execution, direction, management, connection work, pay, and benefits.
