Kate Tuohy
Division Manager
Kate Tuohy is Division Manager of Beacon Hill Legal’s temporary placement team in the greater Philadelphia area. Kate oversees a team of three, placing attorneys and legal staff at all levels in various contract assignments from large-scale document review to substantive roles that require a high level of expertise across all practice areas and industries. She enjoys developing relationships, connecting people, and learning about an organization’s overall business needs, which makes her a strong resource in providing staffing solutions in a creative way.
Kate’s career in staffing started in 2012 when she joined Beacon Hill as a legal recruiter and helped with the launch of the legal division in Philadelphia. After a year in recruiting, she eagerly transitioned into an account executive role in which she worked with a diverse group of law firms and corporations. Determined to establish and build Beacon Hill’s brand in the local market and surrounding area, Kate became an active member and business partner with several organizations within the legal community, such as the ALA, ACC, and WIPL, while also serving on the boards of Women in eDiscovery, the Legal Marketing Association and Mount St. Joseph Alumnae Board of Directors. Kate is a 2010 graduate from Loyola University Maryland with a BS in Marketing.
