Kelsey Morrison, Esq. is a Practice Manager at Beacon Hill Legal where she oversees attorney placements and client services throughout the Midwest. As an Ohio native, and a Chicago transplant since attending law school, Ms. Morrison has developed a deep understanding of the Midwest legal markets. She and her team match attorneys (associates, partners, and in-house counsel) to opportunities with leading law firms and companies, nationally.
Ms. Morrison joined Beacon Hill in 2020, eager to establish and grow a direct hire attorney search team for Beacon Hill in the Midwest. Fast forward three years – while also running a full desk, Ms. Morrison manages a top team of seasoned legal recruiters. In her words, “they are a very talented group of dynamic & motivated professionals who all have an outstanding ability to build on and increase client/candidate relationships, though each in their own, unique way. They are smart, creative, and thoughtful, all of which make them incredible matchmakers.”
Ms. Morrison received her JD from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2014 and practiced as a litigator as well as worked for a national bar exam review company before she was recruited to recruit! While an unexpected and big change, she dove into the deep end of legal recruiting in 2017 with one of the largest publicly traded staffing companies in the world and has never looked back. Ms. Morrison is an active member of NALSC and volunteers her time counseling law students with regards to the bar exam, interview prep and resume review. Outside of work, Ms. Morrison is an avid traveler, stand-up comedy enthusiast, and Mom to her little guy, Tripp!
