Beacon Hill Legal Senior Consultant Craig Paster Recently Participated in the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association's Keys to Managing Your Own Career Program

Beacon Hill Legal Senior Consultant Craig Paster recently participated in the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association's Keys to Managing Your Own Career program, which took place Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston. The Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association (MBLA) was founded in 1973 and provides a valuable network and visible presence for attorneys of color within the Massachusetts legal community.

The program began with a Networking Breakfast before opening remarks were given by the MBLA President, Courtney Scrubbs. The program consisted of six separate panels that covered topics such as “Where does Public Service or a Role in Politics Fit In,” “Targeting an In-House Role/Climbing the In-House Ladder,” and “Back to School: Working in the Law School Setting.”

Paster was part of the first panel session that covered the topic “The Role of Recruiters.” He spoke alongside Paul S. Williams and Ayanna Wooten-Days.

“It was an honor to be asked to participate in such an important event for the MBLA. I was able to meet some great people and look forward to helping out in any way that I can,” recalled Paster.

To conclude the program, Brandon Middleton-Pratt presented his capstone which focused on “Finding Meaning and Purpose.”
