Beacon Hill Technologies opens in Pittsburgh

Beacon Hill Technologies, Beacon Hill’s national technology staffing division, opened in Pittsburgh this month, continuing its expansion to major markets across the country.

“We’ve had an interest in Pittsburgh for a while,” said Andrew Wang, CEO. “There are a lot of great companies in the region… the market offers opportunities across all our specialty areas.”

Pittsburgh was ranked #72 (out of 200) in high-tech GDP over the past five years, ranks #6 in the nation as home to Fortune 500 companies, and houses more than 70 companies with $1 billion or more in sales that operate within the region. In addition, the region is home to 34 colleges and universities including Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.

Beacon Hill Technologies Pittsburgh will provide contract, direct (permanent placement), consulting and project management services to the technology sector in the region.
