April 1st, 2013

Over the last month, the Boston Business Journal once again bestowed high honors upon Beacon Hill Staffing Group by naming it to its annual “Area’s Largest Temporary Placement Firms” and “Area’s Largest Executive Search Firms” lists, as well as naming the company a 2013 Pacesetter.

Named #10 on the BBJ’s “Area’s Largest Temporary Placement Firms” list, Beacon Hill was recognized for providing the region temporary employees and contractors across the technology, legal, financial, HR and administrative sectors. Beacon Hill has made the list several years in a row, having earned the #9 spot in 2012, #10 spot in 2011 and #12 spot in 2010.

Additionally, Beacon Hill was featured as #4 on the BBJ’s “Most Bay State Employees” list. Beacon Hill Staffing Group employs 92 internal employees in New England with more than 282 internal employees in its 23 offices across the country.

As for the BBJ’s “Area’s Largest Executive Search Firms” list, Beacon Hill once again came in at #5. Named to the list for nine years running, Beacon Hill came in at #5 in 2012, #7 in 2011 and #8 in 2010. Noted in the ranking was that fact that 9.6% of Beacon Hill’s total 2012 revenue was derived from executive search. Additionally, Beacon Hill was featured as #2 on the BBJ’s “Most Massachusetts Recruiters” list.

Also announced by the BBJ was the fact that for the eighth year running, Beacon Hill Staffing Group was named to the publication’s Pacesetters – a list of the region’s fastest-growing privately held companies. This year’s list includes the 70 Massachusetts companies that recorded the highest three-year growth rate in revenue as of December 31, 2012, with a starting baseline of $1 million.

In 2004, when Beacon Hill was first named a Pacesetter, the company's annual revenue was $11,600,000. Eight years later, Beacon Hill's 2012 revenue was $156,100,000.

“This list offers an excellent snapshot of the businesses and entrepreneurs who drive the Massachusetts economy,” said Chris McIntosh, publisher of the Boston Business Journal. “The BBJ’s Pacesetters are among the greatest innovators and leaders within a wide variety of cutting-edge and traditional industries, and they are a huge reason why this state continues to be a great place to do business.”

The 2013 Pacesetters will be honored during an April 25 breakfast event, featuring a countdown to the No. 1 fastest-growing company on this year’s list.

Beacon Hill Staffing Group’s niche brands provide direct hire, executive search, temporary staffing, contract consulting and temp/contract-to-hire solutions to emerging growth companies and the Fortune 500 across multiple market sectors and all industries. Over time, office locations, specialty practice areas and service offerings will be added to address ever changing constituent needs.
