Using the LeapFILE Secure File Exchange

In today’s digital environment, it’s easier and more convenient than ever to share, access and store data. Many organizations depend on technology to access and communicate data more efficiently to colleagues, partners and clients in order to go about their daily business. However, transferring personal information (e.g., SSN, Bank Account information, Credit Card Information) and confidential documents electronically does not come without pitfalls. Identity theft has been on the rise, and the need for greater transparency and accountability in the handling of sensitive private data calls for stricter security controls. Legislative bodies at the state, federal and even international level are now requiring businesses to take both proactive and reactive measures to address the concerns around data privacy.

Beacon Hill is committed to protecting your personal information; therefore, when sending any electronic document that contains sensitive and personal information to us, we request that you use our LeapFILE Secure File Exchange solution. LeapFILE allows for the exchange of documents to and from Beacon Hill in an encrypted and secure fashion and is built specifically to ensure reliability and security compliance including SAS70 Type II Certified Data Centers and rich security features for compliance with regulations such as SOX, GLBA, HIPAA & state-level data encryption & privacy breach laws.
