Beacon Hill Legal Minneapolis named to leadership positions within Minnesota Women Lawyers

Cindy Eidnes, Division Director, and Renu Yonkoski, Legal Staffing Consultant, of Beacon Hill Legal in Minneapolis, have both been named to leadership positions within Minnesota Women Lawyers, an association of more than 1,200 lawyers, judges, law students and other professionals.
Eidnes has been a co-chair of the MWL Professional Development Committee for the past four years and Yonkoski will be named Co-Chair of the Membership Committee in September, 2008.
“The Professional Development Committee’s mission is to address issues related to the professional development of women lawyers,” remarked Eidnes. “This covers everything from career planning and job placement to skills enhancement.”
Eidnes was honored in 2007 with the Service to MWL Award which is given out annually in recognition of, and appreciation to, those members that take leadership roles in advancing the mission of MWL.
MWL was founded in 1972 to support the professional and leadership development of women lawyers, to advocate on behalf of women lawyers within the legal profession and to support social action initiatives to end discrimination in the justice system and promote equality of women in society.
