Beacon Hill Technologies Expands in Michigan, Launching in Grand Rapids

November 2nd, 2020

Beacon Hill Technologies, Beacon Hill’s technology specialty division, just opened their 37th location in Grand Rapids, Michigan, west of our Beacon Hill Technologies and Beacon Hill Legal office located in Detroit, Michigan. Beacon Hill Technologies is a world-class technology services and human capital enterprise, comprised of distinct and specialized engagement organizations, that partners with customers across the country to deliver the very best technology consulting services, staffing solutions and onshore resources in the market today.

Leading Beacon Hill Technologies Grand Rapids is Division Director Keegan Aguilera. Prior to joining Beacon Hill, Mr. Aguilera led large teams across multiple states in the Midwest and on the West Coast. His continued focus on strategic delivery, resource planning, and customer service has spanned several industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, technology, insurance, higher education, biotech/pharmaceutical, entertainment, and government entities. His passion to lead and develop teams, with a heightened focus on inclusion and diversity, is a key driver on why he has dedicated his career to the ever-evolving IT staffing and service industry.

“I found a company that holds the same values as I do, and it’s time to put some roots in the ground and make Beacon Hill a mainstay in this market,” remarked Aguilera. “My wife and I have always dreamed of moving around the country, but our hearts have always resided in West Michigan since becoming Hope College grads. Outside of being a top area to raise your family, Grand Rapids is full of generational companies that are led by intelligent, financially conscious, and forward-thinking people,” stated Mr. Aguilera.

“I believe in Keegan and Keegan believes there is an amazing opportunity for him, through Beacon Hill Technologies, to build a great technology services business in the Grand Rapids, MI market,” said Brian Kelley, Senior Regional Director of Beacon Hill Technologies. “Beacon Hill has always been guided by finding exceptional leaders who are connected to markets for reasons that are bigger than financial gain, and to that end, it’s Keegan’s passion and commitment to building his business that will provide opportunities and great service to the people in West Michigan. Beacon Hill Technologies is excited and honored to be a part of the Grand Rapids community!”

“I left this market seven years ago and the amount of companies that are thriving here is exciting,” Mr. Aguilera said. “People of Grand Rapides pride themselves on being successful but not losing sight of why we get up every day and go to work. In my eyes, there is no better place to build a legacy while helping these companies solve critical IT solutions that will expand the footprint of Grand Rapids and what is being done here.”

Since launching in Boston in 2005, Beacon Hill Technologies is now in 37 locations across the United States and achieved nearly $325 million in revenue last year. In 2019, Beacon Hill Technologies was named the 18th “Largest U.S. IT Staffing Firms in the United States” by Staffing Industry Analysts.
