Boston Business Journal Names Beacon Hill Boston a Best Place to Work for the 6th Consecutive Year

October 8th, 2020

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, Boston, was once again named to Boston Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” list for 2020. Ranking 8th in the "Large Employers” category, this is the sixth consecutive year that Beacon Hill has been recognized.

This recognition comes on the heels of Beacon Hill’s Atlanta, Chicago and New York offices all receiving similar top workplace recognitions this year by regional publications. Not to mention, Beacon Hill Staffing Group as a whole was named one of the “Best Staffing Firms to Work For” by Staffing Industry Analysts earlier this year. Beacon Hill has four offices in Downtown Boston and surrounding areas. All eight specialty divisions are represented in one of these four Boston-area locations: Beacon Hill Associates, Beacon Hill Legal, Beacon Hill Technologies, Beacon Hill Financial, Beacon Hill Government Services, Beacon Hill HR, Beacon Hill Life Sciences and Beacon Hill Solutions.

“Providing a great work environment for our employees has always been a top priority,” remarked Andrew Wang, CEO. “This is a true honor.”

On October 1st, the Boston Business Journal honored Beacon Hill as well as 78 other area companies for building outstanding work environments for their employees. Hundreds attended the virtual awards ceremony where award winners and their rankings were announced in five categories: Extra Large Companies (1,000 employees and up), Large Companies (250 to 999 employees), Midsized Companies (100 to 249 employees), Small Companies (50 to 99 employees) and Extra Small Companies (20 to 49 employees).

Beacon Hill Staffing Group launched in Boston in 2000. Since that time, our Boston offices have been responsible for placing 50,097 consultants at 3,596 client companies. Despite 2020’s economic downturn as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Boston offices have made a considerable rebound through both remote and on-site assignments. On average, Boston job orders are up 13% month-over-month since April and the Boston-based team is on pace to reach pre-COVID levels in Q4.

Beacon Hill Staffing Group’s niche brands provide direct hire, executive search, temporary staffing, contract consulting, temp/contract-to-hire, and MSP/VMS and RPO solutions to emerging growth companies and the Fortune 500 across multiple market sectors and all industries. In 2019, Beacon Hill Staffing Group closed the year with revenues approaching $600 million. Over time, office locations, specialty practice areas and service offerings will be added to address ever changing constituent needs.
