Contract-to-hire Information Technology Staffing

Challenge

Our client, a publicly traded medical device company in Audubon, Pennsylvania, was working with their human resources team to conduct permanent placement hiring for IT roles. Their team was having a difficult time finding network administrators, business analysts, Java developers, and more. They were not finding quality candidates, and they had many open positions to fill.

Solution

We met with our client’s vice president (VP) and presented him with a contract-to-hire solution. The client never tried contracting before. However, the VP was enlightened by our open communication, willingness to listen to their concerns, and—most importantly—that we didn’t force anything on them. We collaborated to provide an out-of-the-box solution they had not considered before.

The Results

As a result of our honesty and transparency, our client realized the value in contracting, and we successfully implemented our contract-to-hire model. We made eight placements, and some are even in the process of converting to permanent roles. Because of our success, we have been asked to provide staffing services for three additional departments.
