Challenge

Our client, an American company seller of designer and name brand shoes and fashion accessories, needed staff to run their network operations center. The network operations center roles were originally outsourced to a different provider. However, the provider was not supporting the company in the way they wanted, including not provide any documentation and their prices being beyond our client’s budget.

Solution

Beacon Hill Technologies was selected to staff our client’s entire network operations center after being brought back in-house. We filled five long-term contract roles. Most of the roles were infrastructure specialists who handled network monitoring, patching and various administration tasks. These roles provided a pipeline of consultants that could be converted to full time employees while providing operational support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

The Results

Most of our consultants were either converted to full-time employees with our client, were promoted, or stayed on long-term. To this day, the group is continually taking on more responsibilities from other information technology (IT) departments. As a result of the success of this project, we have been one of our client’s top IT recruiting partners for over seven years.
