Beacon Hill Named to Four Notable Lists – Best Companies for Women, Best Company Culture, Best Companies for Diversity and Best Company CEO – by Comparably
December 16th, 2021
Beacon Hill was recently recognized to four notable lists – Best Companies for Women, Best Company Culture, Best Companies for Diversity and Best Company CEO – by Comparably. These four categories concluded Comparably’s 2021 edition of “The 5th Annual Best Places to Work Awards.”
For Best Companies for Women, Beacon Hill ranked #13 out of 100 large companies honored. Comparably’s rankings for this list were based on sentiment ratings provided exclusively by female employees who anonymously rated their companies over the course of 12 months. This top-tier ranking earned Beacon Hill a spot on Business Insider’s list of “The 25 best large companies for women, according to female employees.”
For Best Company Culture, Beacon Hill ranked #33 out of 100 large companies recognized across the country. This ranking was based on a compilation of sentiment ratings provided by employees who anonymously assessed their company’s culture over the course of 12 months. This is the second year in a row that Beacon Hill has been recognized to this list.
For Best Companies for Diversity, Beacon Hill ranked #40 out of 100 large companies recognized across the country, up from #50 in 2020. This ranking was derived from ratings provided exclusively by employees of color (non-Caucasian) who provided anonymous feedback about their companies over the course of 12 months. This is the second year in a row that Beacon Hill has been recognized to this list.
For all three of the above categories, rankings were determined based on a series of questions in several core culture metrics, spanning from compensation and opportunities for career growth, to leadership and overall work environment. These metrics provide an accurate representation of what it is truly like to work at these companies, particularly as a female-identifying person or a person of color.
“It is an honor to be recognized to these lists alongside so many great companies,” remarked Andrew Wang, CEO. “Being named as a ‘Best Company’ for culture, women, and diversity is something we are very proud of.”
Additionally, for Best Company CEO, Beacon Hill ranked #41 out of 100 large companies recognized across the country, a ranking derived from sentiment ratings provided by employees who anonymously rated their CEOs on Comparably over the course of 12 months.
Ratings within all four of these categories were based on a data set consisting of 15 million ratings across 70,000 companies within the United States. They were compiled during the COVID-19 pandemic (November of 2020 to November of 2021), indicating that even amid extreme hardship, the overall satisfaction of Beacon Hill employees with their leadership, company culture and personal/professional growth remained a top priority.
