Beacon Hill Named to Three Comparably lists for Q4 of 2023

January 2nd, 2024

Beacon Hill in Boston, Massachusetts, was recently named to three distinguished lists – Best CEOs, Best Company Culture and Best Company for Women – by Comparably. These awards were part of Comparably’s quarterly awards where Beacon Hill was found at the top among the tens of thousands of companies that were considered.

For Best CEOs, Andrew Wang, Beacon Hill’s CEO ranked #31 out of 100 large company CEOs that were honored. These results were determined by compiling feedback from anonymous surveys that were sent out to all employees at each ranked company over the last 12 months.

“Every decision Andy makes is with our employees as his #1 priority and by putting our team first, he knows we will do everything possible to provide the best experiences for our clients,” remarks Managing Director, Charlie Cain. “Andy is honest, ambitious, accessible, curious and compassionate. He communicates transparently, always follows up and is responsive to questions. Andy's leadership by example since the start of our company has earned him universal credibility across our organization and inspired tremendous achievement.”

For Best Company Culture, Beacon Hill ranked #51 out of the top 100 large companies that were honored. Comparably rankings for this list were based on employee feedback that resulted from a variety of questions to determine their total contentment with their company’s culture.

“From the CEO to leadership to our most recently hired employee it begins with our culture. Beacon Hill invests in initiatives that cultivate and promote a culture where everyone feels supported, valued and respected,” Chief Culture Officer Amy Van Sicklin explains. “For over 20 years our collaborative approach to decision making with our employee’s best interest at the heart of it has served us well. This is a testament to all Beacon Hill employees.”

Among Best Company for Women award-winners, Beacon Hill ranked #26 out of the top 100 large companies that were honored. Comparably rankings for this list were based on employee feedback through a survey specifically pulled from female employees.

“Beacon Hill being recognized as a best company for women is a very special award. Beacon Hill’s leadership is 60% women and we are committed to continuing to increase this percentage. Beacon Hill has always had flexibility to support women as their priorities may change over time,” remarks Amy Van Sicklin, Chief Culture Officer. “Our policies support the ability to have a strong professional development track coupled with a fulfilling personal life.”
