Engaged by Senior Vice-President of Enterprise Applications to Fill BI/Data Modeling Architect Position
Beacon Hill Technologies had recently opened an office in a major Midwestern market and had an introduction to the Senior Vice-President of Enterprise Applications for a prominent local company. The Senior Vice-President of Enterprise Applications offered to add Beacon Hill to the company’s vendor list for IT suppliers if we filled a high-priority, yet difficult-to-fill, BI/Data Modeling Architect position.
Challenge
The BI/Data Modeling Architect position required very specific knowledge of analytics and reporting tools which were not well-known in the market. Despite having 13 staffing vendors in the client’s staffing program, the position had gone unfilled for over 6 months and our client was very frustrated with the lack of success by the resources in the market. A key element of the job requirement was a unique Reporting tool used by a limited number of candidates, most of them based in Europe and Pacific Rim.
Solution
