Enterprise-wide Salesforce.com Implementation

Challenge

A Fortune 5 healthcare company’s pharmacy and benefits manager (PBM) organization’s Business Analyst Center of Excellence was tasked with helping an enterprise-wide Salesforce.com implementation. They were responsible for providing the same level of service to the company’s current and new clients with their new Salesforce app. They didn’t have any Salesforce expertise on the team, nor did they know how to incorporate the app into their current workflow. As such, they recognized they needed to build a team who matched the business needs and had the experience of implementing Salesforce.com. This specific team has a unique working culture and environment, as the team manager had experienced challenges bringing consultants onboard who did not fit successfully in the environment.

Solution

Beacon Hill Technologies was selected to build out a team of Salesforce business analysts. To better to tailor our search in finding top candidates, our account manager worked closely with our clients’ manager to understand their business, environment, and the culture. Our account executive also attended the interviews to ensure that the technical screenings were going smoothly in the qualification process. These interviews empowered us to improve our screening process, as well as learn our client’s unique environment and goals for the type of candidate who would thrive.

The Results

We built out our client’s team with results-driven business analysts who matched the soft skills needed to be successful in the environment, as well as candidates who were eligible to convert once the project was completed so that our client could retain that intellectual property. This included finding team players with strong communication skills, as well as leadership and core business analysis functions. Our consultants truly understood the business and Salesforce implementation project tasks needed to be completed.
