Challenge

Our client, an American footwear company based in Minnesota, needed help obtaining resources for their warehouse integration, customer WOW, point of sale (POS) integration, and Salesforce.com integration projects.

Solution

Beacon Hill Technologies deployed a team of developer / programmer resources who were responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing all software product development while using Microsoft.net technology—all while providing a secure and consistent computing environment. This was accomplished using the following technologies and tools: C#, ASP.net, SQL server 2005-2012, WCF, Visual Studio, Silverlight, team foundation server, SSRS, SSIS, MVC, XML, and SOAP, on both the back and front end.

We also deployed a high-level resource responsible for managing the implementation team (development, integration, data migration, testing, and deployment). This resource partnered with our client’s key stakeholders from business and information technology
(IT) to translate and facilitate project planning, requirements gathering, business review, and deployment planning sessions.

The Results

Ultimately, our team of resources helped our client successfully manage and implement the requirements for their warehouse integration, customer WOW, POS integration, and their Salesforce.com integration projects. They also assisted in helping our client’s global sales and marketing teams collaborate effectively, and they have led the design and mapping for lead and contact management to accommodate the integration and survey task management.
