BH Associates® Case Study

Executive Personal Assistant

Challenge

Our client, a commercial real estate, private equity investment firm in New York City, needed help replacing the executive personal assistant to the chief executive officer (CEO). With a high-net-worth family, it was imperative to find an assistant with equivalent experience to the prior executive personal assistant. Our client was skeptical that it would be possible to find anyone with the qualifications and relevant experience. Further, they were facing a mere week of potential handoff and knowledge transfer, making the search high-stake.

Solution & The Results

Beacon Hill Associates has previously supported similar searches and maintained a strong network of candidates working in this space. As a result, we quickly identified and submitted two qualified candidates for our client to interview. Our client interviewed the first option and moved forward with an offer right away. This decision speaks volumes to the type of high-caliber candidates we submit to our clients. During this process, we were transparent and let our client know that they would be competing with another client for this candidate. Our client offered a competitive package and secured our candidate. Additionally, our success has resulted in our client coming back to us for return business.
