Managed Services to Improve Business Performance Company Wide


A global 500 manufacturing and retail company was seeking to identify business partners to provide skilled professionals across their business lines. They wanted to improve hiring and onboarding speeds, simplify the hiring process, improve the quality of resources, and achieve cost effectiveness. The client was having issues with their budget as they were working with multiple vendors who had a wide range of bill rates for the same skill sets.


Beacon Hill Technologies was chosen as a strategic partner based on our ability to provide resources across the client’s disciplines and geographies, and our ability to improve the sourcing process, flex with project demands, and conduct performance reporting. Skill sets included a global project manager, program managers, project coordinators, business system consultants and analysts, senior test leads, performance and test analysts, and training leads.

The Results

We implemented a managed services approach across the client’s locations. Some of our improvements include:

-Reducing the average time to source qualified candidates from over fifteen days to under two days; time-to-hire from fourteen days to seven days; number of resumes for hiring managers to review to an average of three
-Adhering to a set rate card for all skill sets for eighteen months
-Onboarding over forty resources in the first year, with an average of twenty-seven consultants currently on assignment
-Simplifying invoicing and reporting, and developing custom interviewing
-Taking over on- and offboarding for our client
