BH Technologies® Case Study

SharePoint Enterprise-level Project

Challenge

A large automotive manufacturer had been paying for licenses on multiple technologies for years, and they had begun looking to build a SharePoint delivery center and an international archive to host documents. Their needs were very specific, and SharePoint 2010 was released only nine months prior to the engagement, which made it extremely difficult to find candidates with hands-on skills, as well as enterprise-level, international experience.

Solution

Beacon Hill Technologies identified more than fifteen SharePoint professionals, including developers, project managers (PMs), and subject matter experts (SMEs) who had the international and enterprise-level experience that met our client’s requirements. We sourced talent at all three levels with a custom recruitment plan, and our consultants were on assignment for more than twelve months—with more than half converting to full-time employees with our client.

The Results

We successfully placed over fifteen SharePoint professionals and helped launch the delivery center, with the project and objectives being completed on time and within budget. Most of the resources placed are still employed with our client today, and our client’s managers specifically asked us to be an ongoing tier one supplier.
