Attracting Application and Business Intelligence Developers
Challenge
Our client, a not-for-profit healthcare organization, needed help with managing their onboarding and compliance processes, as well as recruiting and retaining application and business intelligence (BI) developers for their enterprise analytics team. Our client was also in the process of implementing rebranding initiatives that required their leadership to juggle multiple competing company initiatives.
Solution
Beacon Hill Technologies’ recruiters held calls with our client’s hiring managers (HMs) to acquire the information to target and attract the appropriate talent. These discussions gave us different perspectives to drive our customized recruiting strategies. We also conducted postinterview meetings with HMs to solicit their feedback on the candidates we presented. We met regularly with HMs in person, held appreciation lunches, and participated in team outings to build rapport. We even asked about our client’s future projects and the types of candidates they anticipated needing. Our goals were to learn as much information about our client’s current and future projects, find out what worked for them in the past, as well as the specific qualities and characteristics of their ideal candidates. We aimed to made good matches for both the client and the candidate.
