Legacy System Migration to a Cloud-based Solution
Challenge
Our client, a large government integrator, was awarded an intelligence agency program. Our client needed to partner with a partner who had obtained a facility clearance (FCL) to manage the migration of a legacy financial system to a cloud-based solution (Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud). Given the nature of this program, all consultants were also required to have proper security clearances.
Solution
Beacon Hill Technologies’ project manager and technical director scoped the project, offered a solution, and delivered a successful managed service comprised of multiple cleared AWS GovCloud architects to work within the defined scope of work.
The Results
This ongoing project is scheduled to deliver on time. Additionally, we are proud to share that our sister specialty division, Beacon Hill Solutions, was awarded phase two of this project as a result of our successful delivery.
